A Forma® treatment typically takes less than 30 minutes per treatment area and you can expect to experience a tolerable heat and occasional pricking sensation. There is typically no downtime post-treatment, although the skin may appear flushed for a few hours. Mild swelling and tingling may occur, but this typically improves in the next few hours. It is recommended to do 6-8 sessions a week apart for the best and long-lasting results, however skin tightening is visible from the first session itself. The number of treatments and the gap between treatments also depends on the skin condition and elasticity and it is best discussed after a proper examination by the physician.
Because Forma® is so gentle, there’s not much that needs to be done to prepare for the treatment. It is best to avoid tanning and prolonged sun exposure in the weeks leading up to your appointment. Stop using exfoliators and retinoids in your skin regime 3-5 days before the treatment. It is not advised in case of active acne or infections on the face.
No specific post-procedure care is required, however it is ideal to avoid exfoliants and retinols for the first 72 hours post-treatment. Enjoy the benefits of a brighter, more luminous complexion.

If you have any active infection in the treated area, Forma® face treatment cannot be performed. It is recommended to do Forma® before doing HA fillers or Botox®, if done after, please wait for at least 2 weeks after fillers and Botox® to do the session.
